We can all be happy on Valentine’s Day
10th February 2016
As much as some of us might try to ignore it, Valentine’s Day is seemingly being shoved right into our faces by every media source under the sun. Well, if you can’t beat them, join them – so I’ve decided to embrace it by sharing a video that I made recently. Here’s a bit of background…
A while ago I was thinking about why I love London so much (don’t worry, I’ll get to the point, I promise). Other than being my hometown, there are always so many things to do and places to explore. And if any kind of event is happening, it’s happening here. But one of the other things I love so much about this city is the number of people who visit from all over the world. Whether for work, play, two weeks or two decades, people flock to London from every continent and everyone seems to love it.
I wanted to show off how multi-cultural our capital is, and what better way to do it than to go out and meet people who have travelled here from other places. To get a flavour of the variety that London attracts, I asked a bunch of people to say “I love you,” in their native language. I’d like to think I managed to build a positive message out of it as well – perfect for Valentine’s Day.
Here’s the result. Enjoy!
